Bathrooms are small rooms with a lot going on. Getting the structure, waterproofing and sequencing right is what separates a bathroom that lasts from one that causes problems later.
We take bathrooms back to frame so we can see exactly what we're working with — timber condition, floor levels, drainage and services. That's where most of the problems in older Gold Coast and Northern Rivers homes show up, and it's far cheaper to deal with them at that stage than after tiling.
From there, the work is sequenced tightly: framing and any structural repairs, plumbing and electrical rough-in, waterproofing, screeding, tiling, then fit-off and joinery. Because bathrooms take a room out of use, we plan the run so trades follow each other closely rather than leaving the space sitting idle.
We'll also help you make sense of the selections — tile sizes, screen types, niche placement, tapware — so the finished bathroom works practically as well as it looks.
